TERMS & CONDITIONS

The terms governing our electrical installation and related services

AxisForge Installations Ltd — Company No. 17027770 Last updated: 1 July 2026 Registered: 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of electrical installation and related services (the “Services”) by AxisForge Installations Ltd (“AxisForge”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to any customer (“you”, “your”, “Customer”) who engages us for residential, commercial, or SME electrical work, whether via our website, telephone, email, or in person.

By requesting a quote, booking a survey, accepting a quotation, making a payment, or otherwise instructing us to carry out work, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not engage our Services.

2. Our Services

We provide electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and repair services, including but not limited to:

  • Full and partial rewiring, consumer unit replacement, lighting, sockets, EICR testing, smoke/CO alarms, EV charger installation, and fault finding for residential customers
  • Office, retail, restaurant, data cabling, emergency lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, and PAT testing services for commercial customers
  • Flexible maintenance and installation packages for small and medium enterprises

Typical project values range from £150 to £10,000 depending on scope, but all work is quoted individually based on a site survey and specification.

3. Quotations, Estimates & Pricing

3.1 All quotations are provided free of charge following a site visit or remote assessment and are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Quotations are based on the information and access available at the time of survey. If, once work commences, additional faults, non-compliant existing installations, or unforeseen conditions are discovered, we will notify you promptly and provide a revised quotation before proceeding with any additional work.
3.3 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where AxisForge Installations Ltd is VAT registered, unless stated otherwise on the quotation or invoice.
3.4 We reserve the right to request a deposit before commencing work. Deposits are used to secure materials, labour, and scheduling and are treated in accordance with Clause 6 below.

4. Bookings, Site Visits & Access

4.1 By booking a site visit, survey, or installation date, you confirm that you have the authority (as owner, tenant with landlord consent, or authorised representative) to instruct works at the property.
4.2 You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time. Failed access appointments (where our engineer attends and cannot gain entry, or the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice) may incur a call-out charge, details of which will be confirmed at the time of booking.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are as stated on the applicable invoice or quotation.
5.2 We accept payment by bank transfer and card payment (via our secure payment link). Card payments are processed by our merchant service provider; AxisForge Installations Ltd does not store your full card details.
5.3 Milestone invoicing may apply to larger projects, with payments due at agreed stages (e.g. survey/audit, commencement, completion). Final payment is due on satisfactory completion of the agreed works, subject to Clause 8 below.
5.4 Late Payment: Sums not paid by the due date may attract statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (for business customers) or, for consumer customers, reasonable interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily from the due date until payment is received in full.
5.5 Cardholder/Chargeback Notice: By making payment, you confirm that the transaction relates to Services genuinely requested and, where applicable, that you have read and accepted our Refund & Cancellation Policy prior to work commencing. You agree to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any dispute before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your card issuer.

6. Returns & Cancellation Policy

Please read carefully By confirming a booking or accepting a quotation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.
6.1 Nature of Services: AxisForge Installations Ltd provides bespoke, on-site electrical installation and repair services. We do not sell physical goods for delivery, and as such, there is no “returns” process in the traditional retail sense. This policy sets out your cancellation rights in relation to the Services.
6.2 Consumer Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period): If you are a consumer and you enter into a contract with us other than at our trading premises (for example, by phone, email, or during a home visit), you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel the contract within 14 calendar days of the date the contract is made, without giving a reason.
6.3 Waiver for Urgent Work: Where you request that work begins before the 14-day cancellation period has expired, you will be asked to expressly agree to this in writing before work begins. If you cancel after work has started but before completion, you will remain liable to pay for the proportion of Services already performed and any materials already ordered up to the point of cancellation. If the Services are fully performed within the 14-day period with your express agreement, your right to cancel is lost upon completion.
6.4 Deposits and Materials: Where a deposit has been paid and the Customer cancels before any materials have been ordered or work scheduled, the deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days, less any reasonable administrative costs already incurred. After materials have been ordered or work has commenced, the deposit (or a fair proportion of it, reflecting costs and work already incurred) is non-refundable.
6.5 Rescheduling: We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel without charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failed access on the day, may incur a reasonable charge to cover engineer time and lost scheduling opportunity, as set out in Clause 4.2.
6.6 Business Customers: If you are contracting with us in the course of a business, trade, or profession, the statutory cancellation rights in Clause 6.2 do not apply, and cancellation terms will instead be as agreed in your individual contract or quotation with us.
6.7 How to Cancel: To exercise a right to cancel, please contact us by email at axisforge_installations@outlook.com or by phone on +44 7348 146578, clearly stating your name, address, and the details of the booking or contract you wish to cancel.

7. Refunds

7.1 Where a refund is due under Clause 6, or where Services have not been carried out to a reasonable standard and cannot be remedied, we will process the refund within 14 days of agreeing that a refund is due, using the same payment method originally used, unless you agree otherwise.
7.2 We reserve the right to deduct a fair amount to reflect Services already performed, materials already purchased on your behalf, and reasonable administrative costs, in accordance with Clause 6.4.

8. Workmanship, Guarantees & Compliance

8.1 All work is carried out to comply with the applicable edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and other relevant British Standards referenced in our service descriptions (e.g. BS 5266 for emergency lighting).
8.2 We provide a workmanship guarantee on installations we carry out, the specific duration and scope of which will be confirmed on your invoice or completion certificate. This guarantee does not cover faults arising from misuse, third-party interference, pre-existing defects not identified at survey stage, or normal wear and tear.
8.3 Where you believe work is defective, you must notify us in writing within a reasonable time of discovering the issue, and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, remedy the work before seeking any other remedy.
8.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to have services performed with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and for a reasonable price where not agreed in advance.

9. Liability

9.1 We maintain public liability insurance appropriate to the scale of our operations. Details are available on request.
9.2 Subject to Clause 9.4, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the total price paid for the Services giving rise to the claim.
9.3 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of business, or loss of opportunity, except where such loss arises from our negligence in circumstances where it was reasonably foreseeable.
9.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By engaging our Services, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described therein.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, supply chain disruption, power outages, or restrictions imposed by public authorities.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. The version in force at the time you place a booking or accept a quotation will apply to that contract.
